In order to get a hold of those who cannot (or do not want to) spend their monies on a top of the range, Huawei introduced us to its P Lite series, which turns its flagship phone into an impressive mobile device, with good value for everyone looking for a good compromise between quality and price. After the Huawei P8 Lite (Check on Amazon.com), the true best-buy of last year, the new and improved Huawei P20 Lite (Check on Amazon.com) is set to become the next king of the mid-range. It comes with a 5.84-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (2280×1080 pixels) that covers the entire front – so with the usually rounded edges and really thin frames – but it also has a notch that houses the sensors for the face recognition and the front camera.

The rear design is completely new with the dual camera placed in the top-right-hand side in an upright position, making room in the center for the fingerprint sensor. From a photographic point of view, it sports a dual camera with a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary one. Also good the 16-megapixel front camera. Under the shell we find the biggest difference between the Huawei P20 Lite and its older brothers: instead of the Kirin 970 processor, the P20 Lite offers an octa-core Kirin 659 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.

Connectivity-wise, the Huawei P20 Lite has an 802.11n WiFi module, Bluetooth 4.2 with GPS+GLONASS, an integrated NFC chip, and a USB Type-C port. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack, the device is Dual-SIM (but the second slot can be occupied by the micro SD card).
