iLife V5s Pro review

The robotic vacuum iLife V5s Pro can be considered a real all-around machine since after “sweeping” the house floors, it is also able to pass a wet cloth for a complete cleaning! Clearly, it does not replace the traditional methods of cleaning, but for daily cleaning, it can be a real blessing. How it works

This iLife V5s Pro functions just like all other robotic vacuums. However, it is undeniable that its price makes it much more attractive than a Roomba, for example. If we flip the robot, we can see the presence of two front brushes, which are used to collect all the dirt it meets on its way and lure it into the central vacuum cleaner nozzle.

The function of the V5s is fully-automated. Just press the start button on the remote control or the robot itself, and the rest will be taken care of. The autonomy is great for such a small device: 2 Hours! Although it does not have floor mapping its movements are not entirely random but it uses patterns that ensure it will clean the entire floor, without leaving any uncovered areas. And thanks to its proximity sensors you don’t have to worry about furniture protection.

Only hard floors?

Of course not! The iLife V5s Pro robotic vacuum cleaner will also clean your carpets, even if it is not perfect for that job like other products on the market that are designed specifically for this purpose. The level of cleanliness is great and manages to capture a good amount of dust, animal hair, crumbs and such. Its maintenance is quick and easy. The dust collection tray is removed with a click and can be washed under running water.

Finally, we also have to mention its mopping capabilities. This includes the installation of the liquid tray and the special cloth base. The autonomy this time drops down to about forty minutes. Not bad.
